Introduction: Sideways leaning of trunk lean, increased internal hip abduction moment and external rotation of the foot are strategies used to reduce knee joint overload. Objective: To evaluate the test-retest reliability of the procedures used to obtain the strategies that reduce knee joint overload. Methods: The quantitative gait analysis in ten healthy elderly was performed by Qualisys Pro-Reflex system. The Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) was calculated to reliability analysis. Results: The ICC for maximum, minimum and amplitude of lateral trunk lean, internal hip abduction moment and external rotation of the foot were 0.92, 0.65 e 0.94; 0.70, 0.65 e 0.77, and 0.77, 0.77 e 0.85, respectively. Conclusions: The method demonstrated moderate to good reliability and can be used in future studies.Downloads
