Introduction: Goniometer is an instrument for measuring the range of motion of ankle inversion, but its reliability is limited when the measurement is performed by different raters or by the same rater at different times. Objective: To evaluate intra and inter-raters reliability for measuring active and passive inversion ankle using a universal goniometer. Methods: A sample of 57 asymptomatic participants had their active and passive ankle inversion movement measured with a universal goniometer by three evaluators at two different times. Results: All intraclass correlation coefficients showed moderate to strong correlation (p< 0.05) for all comparisons. Conclusion: The goniometer movement of ankle inversion is a measure that shows moderate to high inter- and intra-rater reliability, suggesting that this method is reliable for clinical application.Downloads
