Service for children and teens caregivers with type 1 mellitus diabetes: review literature systematic

Introduction: The diabetes mellitus type 1 (type 1 diabetes) affects the child population and had increased prevalence in recent decades, affecting the life of the patient and his family. Objective: To identify the importance of the interdisciplinary team intervention with the caregiver of patients with type1 diabetes. Methods: It was used a systematic review, based on indexers SciELO and BVS, with the descriptors: type 1 diabetes and Family; Diabetes and family and staff; type 1 diabetes and education. Results: It was selected 06 articles that bring the new reality of caregiving families of patients with type 1 diabetes. Conclusion: The team becomes one of the main allies of the caregivers in the process that involves the diagnosis and treatment.Downloads
