Objective: To correlate the peak isokinetic torque and vertical impulsion during the execution of the blockade and the attack of female volleyball athletes. Methods: A quantitative, descriptive correlation study was carried out. Eleven athletes from the adult female volleyball team were evaluated. The torque peak was evaluated in the Biodex system 3, at two angular velocities: 60 o / s and 300 o / s and for the vertical impulse evaluation the counter movement jump was performed. Results: The athletes had a moderate and significant correlation in relation to the peak torque and the vertical impulse during the right flexor attack at 60 º/s with r=0.609; p=0.047, left extensor 300 º/s with r=0.664; p=0.026. Conclusion: In this way the present study presented a moderate correlation between the peak of isokinetic torque and the vertical impulse during the attack foundation of the volleyball athletes.
