Abstract

The objective of this work is to highlight the theoretical-methodological reflections built from the references studied in the Management and Organization of School Work discipline, taught by professor Doctor Rosiley Teixeira, in the Professional Master's Program in Management and Educational Practices (PPGE) at Universidade Nove de Julho and which are related to the research work carried out by this researcher. The work sought to understand whether families of school-age children, enrolled in public schools in a municipality located in the metropolitan region of the state of São Paulo, needed to reorganize their family routine to adapt to new times, spaces, means and ways of learning provoked by for the suspension of face-to-face classes. Therefore, the objective of the research was to understand family management based on the implementation of remote teaching. To this end, it was of fundamental importance to study the references of Boaventura Santos (2010), Michel de Certeau (2014), Stephen Ball (2016) and Paulo Freire (2021) for the theoretical foundation of the research and the line of argument that considers the families excluded from the process of formulating the policy texts implemented during this period, but who needed to create tactics that helped them carry out activities that, until then, were under the responsibility of the school and under the supervision of the State.
