Human rights: a challenge for the educators

This article approaches the role that the education offered in schools will be able to assume in the humanization of social relations, in resistance to barbarian. All the people – children, adults and elderly people – are products and producers of individual and collectively lived and constructed experiences, that bring the marks of the social and cultural heterogeneity. The educational work, upbringing citizens in new ethics and humanism, will contribute to the construction of other forms of sociability, not founded in the simple material exchange and crystallized stereotypes. The human rights as educative conception and didactic-organizing strategy must base the pedagogy of life and the affirmation of the alterity.Downloads
