Time and space and the Distance Education

Abstract

This text presents a reflection about concepts of time and space. It tells about the history of time, its relation with place and space and analyzes physique and imaginary dimensions of time, face to face and on virtual way. The concepts of time are presented by Giddens, Santos, Harvey, Elias Moraes and Tilburg. These conceptions are related with Distance Education that theoretically fulfills on line courses these concepts. The text includes a study of specific aspects of Distance Education and its typical materials. It ends asking if this kind of education can include students of any age, and shows how Distance Education is still depreciated.
