The article discusses the room of art teaching in Brazilian teaching programs and signs Schön’s reflective practitioner model as an alternative way to correct some distorted features of these programs. Some results from participant observations developed by the author are depicted in help of his theoric arguments. It also considers diferent approaches to literacy by macro and micro educational policies in Brazilian schooling.Downloads
