Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the level of aptitude of Physical Education teachers to work with people with disabilities in Elementary School I of the city of São João del-Rei. To do so, the study was composed of a sample of nine teachers from the Elementary School I network, three of which are teachers in the Municipal teaching network, three in the State network and three in the Private network. Methodologically, we adopted biblio-graphical research and field research, based on the application of semi-structured question-naires. The analysis of the data was based on a quantitative method by means of construc-tion of graphs and tables followed by analysis.
