In this article, it is intended to discuss the relation between the formation of the Brazilian state and the management of educational policies in the current conjuncture of the capitalist society in Brazil. It is related to a discussion based on the idea that, in our country, the social representations about public management bring the colonizer’s mark. It is inferred that this sociopolitical and cultural phenomenon as well as the current conjuncture of the capitalism in a global ambit, more precisely the influence of the management called enterprise in the public section, have brought impediments to the practice of the constitutional principle of democratic management of the public teaching.Downloads
