CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy)
Policy for Authors - Authorship Policy
CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy)
In February 2022, the IJI adopted the Contributor Role Taxonomy (CRediT) for all its articles to convey transparency and recognition of all authors involved in conducting research and to eliminate possible authorship conflicts.
The contribution information will be provided by the author when submitting the supplementary document. All CRediT items must be marked and, when not applicable, a dash should be used.
Before an article is published, every author will be notified by the system so that they can validate their contribution. Should an author not reply within the stipulated deadline, the information provided by the author who made the submission will be considered true.
Author order: the presentation of the authorship order in the metadata and the version in .pdf format is the responsibility of all authors. The final check will take place at the proofreading stage.
In the published .pdf version, an item will be included with the title Authors’ Contributions and shown in the form of a table.
In articles submitted before the implementation of this policy, that is, prior to February 21, 2022, the CRediT request will be made at the editing stage. If it is not sent, the article may be shelved. The final decision in this respect falls to the Editors, as do any decisions concerning exceptional cases.
The requested items are listed in Column 1
