CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy)
In January 2022, Remark began adopting the Contributor Role Taxonomy (CRediT) for all its articles as a way to ensure transparency and recognition of all authors involved in the research development and to eliminate potential authorship conflicts.
Contribution information will be provided by the author submitting the article in a supplementary document. All CRediT items must be checked, and those that do not apply should be marked with a dash.
Before the article is published, all authors will be notified by the system to validate the indicated contributions. If no response is received within the requested timeframe, the information provided by the submitting author will be considered accurate.
Order of authors: the presentation of the authorship order in the metadata and PDF is the responsibility of all authors. The final check will occur during the Proofreading stage.
The published PDF will include a section titled Authors' Contributions, presented in table format.
For articles submitted before the implementation of this policy (i.e., before January 27, 2022), the CRediT request will be made during the editing stage. If not submitted, the article may be archived. The final decision rests with the Editors, including in exceptional cases.
The items to be provided are those indicated in column 1.
