The primary school in the State of São Paulo: a description of the pertaining to school organization

This article makes a brief story of the public school in the State of São Paulo since its creation in 1893, as proposal of meeting of isolated schools grouped and a new model of pertaining to school organization that, being based on the education of European countries and the United States, searched a model of graduated popular education. Breaking of the text presented for Gallego (2003), becomes a visit to the curricular, administrative and pedagogical organization used in century XIX and the modifications proposals for the “escolanovistas” ideals brought for Brazil during the government of Getúlio Vargas. Through the inquiry of the organization of used education at the time, some questions are arisen on the temporality in the curricular construction, approaching the types of existing schools, the fomentation of the hourly pictures, the reorganization of the activities of the professors and the norms that had passed prescribed it these actions. The changes offered by schools graduated guided the school, giving new parameters to practice teaching and learning place.Downloads
