Abstract

In this paper, we will broach two notions that, since the beginning of humanity, follow the development of our reasoning: the notion of counting and numbers` representation. We restrict ourselves, in this article, to be concerned on the period that looses itself with the passing of the history till the appearance of hindu-arabic writing.
