The present text analyses the constitution of a conservative representation of society between the metallurgy workforce of São Paulo city from 1950 to 1953 and its turnabout of the 1964 civil military action. It presents the various aspects which are part of this representation as well as the elements to understand the importance of the workforce sectors’ support to the 1964 civil military action.Downloads
