Abstract

In the article the objective is to display, briefly, the historical-social-artistic scene that involved the postmodernism. To present a reading of the Dalton Trevisan story O vampiro de Curitiba being prioritized the postmodern characteristic: the protagonist obsession for pleasure by contemplating the woman-object as a consumption mark; the language fragmentation, defying the classic structures of its kind and the parody atmosphere that surrounds the text in question.
