High school in the eyes of deafness: an analysis of narratives

To materialize inclusion in Brazilian schools, besides to educational policies thereis a need to review the methodologies adopted and the support of the school community. Inthis sense, seeking to investigate the high school in the eyes of deafness, focusing on the inclusion process, this paper proposes an analysis of four students narratives with deep and severe hearing loss of the West of Santa Catarina about their school experiences. In an exploratory analysis of the reports, we can see that to the deaf learners there is a mismatch between what is advocated by the policy proposals and what is experienced in practice during the educational process.Downloads
