The usage of technologies by teachers: from a utilitarian logic to the pedagogical praxis

The present article is based on an empirical research whose objective was to analyze the perceptions of the teachers of the public network of basic education of the state of Goiás on their pedagogical practices mediated by technologies. The data of these interviews were structured in two themes: the didactical-pedagogical uses of the technologies and their usage conditions. The first one covers two subthemes: a) ways of usage and b) the resources which were used. In the second one, the usage conditions were approached in three subthemes: a) equipment and infrastructure, b) didactical-pedagogical conditions and c) political interventions. The possibilities of overcoming of the identified practice, which is mainly based on an instrumental logic, they are in the structural review of the physical, pedagogical conditions of the schools, as well as in the teacher’s training grounded in pedagogical theories.Downloads
