Abstract

For decades the current educational system has kept the same mathematical curriculum and the same contends in the fundamental degree levels, disregarding the students’ socio-cultural differences and their living experiences outside the school, yet keeping mustiness accumulated along all these years. For this reason, it is necessary that educators give special attention to the new pedagogical practices that may help in their educational livings. Interdisciplinary projects may be a good alternative, because they point to somewhere beyond the praise of the “good-gradedstudent”, making possible that all may develop (intellectually and psychologically) and glimpse possible ways out to overcome an exhausted system of teaching.
