Reading or telling stories are actions that continue beyond the walls of our homes, being also present in different school spaces. In literature, more specifically in that directed at children, aging and old age are characterized by the images and themes in it, constructing the various profiles of elderly people. By means of an experience report, we describe the impact of six books on the attitudes and body image of school-age children when encouraged to think about themselves both at the present moment and when they age. Culture circles are considered to encourage, in the field of education, reflection and critical thinking on the issue, exploring the heterogeneity of old age so that children can see, with critical eyes and sensibility, the world that ages.Downloads
