Use of a Science Center as an innovative and collaborative strategy in the training of science teachers

This article presents the innovative and collaborative process of teaching and research carried out with students of the curricular component Pedagogical Practice and Supervised Internship II, in the Biological Sciences of the State University of Bahia, Campus VII, Brazil in collaboration with the science center - Mycological Science Space. The methodological strategy adopted followed a collaborative process in stages: a) presentation and knowledge of the Science Center by the students of the curricular component; B) training and participation in actions, activities and mediation in the Mycological Science Space; C) planning and execution of the action by the graduates with basic education; D) evaluation of the action as a strategy for teacher training. A set of actions that contribute to teacher development are presented and may provide new ways of teaching science.
